Enjoy a

Life with your dog
If you’re here, chances are life with your dog isn’t quite what you hoped it would be.
Maybe walks feel stressful instead of enjoyable.
Maybe your dog pulls, barks, won’t come back when called, or reacts to other dogs or people.
Or maybe you feel like you’ve tried everything—and nothing seems to work.
You’re not alone. And you’re not failing.
Living with a dog who struggles with behaviour can feel overwhelming, frustrating, and sometimes even isolating. It can take the joy out of something that’s supposed to be one of the best parts of your life.
That’s where I come in.
My approach is to work with you to understand what’s really going on beneath your dog’s behaviour, and give you clear, practical steps to move forward with confidence.
No judgement, no unrealistic expectations, just honest support and training that actually fits into your real life.
Because it’s not just about “fixing” your dog.
It’s about helping both of you feel calmer, more connected, and able to enjoy life together again.

No Judgement, no unrealistictic expectations, just honest support that works
How I Can Help
Every dog and every owner is different. That’s why I don’t offer one-size-fits-all training.
Instead, I work with you to create a clear, realistic plan that fits your dog, your lifestyle, and the challenges you’re facing right now.
Whether you’re dealing with pulling on the lead, poor recall, reactivity, separation anxiety or something a bit different we’ll break things down into simple, manageable steps so you always know what to do next.

My professional life with dogs started over 15 years ago. And in that time I have handled, trained, cared for and photographed hundreds of dogs across a broad spectrum of breeds and backgrounds. At 18 I worked for a rehoming charity, assisting in behaviour assessments, socialisation and walking. Throughout this time I bred and handled King Charles Cavaliers in the show ring and completed my Open University studies in studying mammals. I went on to study and qualify in english and creative writing with the Open University! This is where my journalism comes in! I enrolled at Harper Adams University in 2008 and studied Animal Behaviour and Welfare; completing 3 years of full time study I acheived my level 5 diploma in Higher Education. I have since studied canine psychology, nutrition, welfare and behaviour as well as applied animal behaviour across a range of domestic animals. I am a fully assessed Canine Reactivity Expert and Canine Nutrition and Wellbeing expert. Whilst studying animal behaviour at university I ran my own pet care business and when qualified progressed to running puppy and adult dog training classes.
I then took a short break to have my own babies and whilst on maternity leave studied and qualified as a Master Photographer, becoming the only UK qualified Master Photographer to hold qualifications in animal behaviour and welfare.
I have since written articles for national magazine K9 News and am lucky enough to be invited to cover Crufts from the press office each year.
